Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 hard-boiled egg finely chopped; optional
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce optional
  • Dash of hot sauce or paprika optional

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, vinegar or lemon juice, sweet pickle relish, and onion powder until smooth.
  2. Season with salt and pepper. Add sugar, Worcestershire, or hot sauce if using and mix to combine.
  3. If the dressing is too thick, add a teaspoon of water or milk to reach your preferred consistency.
  4. Fold in chopped hard-boiled egg if using.
  5. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve over salads, as a burger sauce, or as a dip for vegetables, fries, or onion rings.
